Constantly telling her off

Does anyone else feel like all they do is tell their child off? Atm it just seems like she is always doing something she shouldnt or being too rough with her brother or not listening and i it feels like i am just constantly telling her off. Im not normally a shouty mum but if ive said the same thing four times… I dunno if its just that shes so excited about everything they she just goes jnto everything at 200% and its just too much. I dont want to dull her personality but just four years old is so intense! Can anyone relate or have advice??

I think it’s the age. My daughter’s the same. Gets far too overly excited around her brothers (4m twins) and the attitude! My lord it’s like having a teenager! However my friends kids are the same so I’m reassured it’s normal

My 4 year old is the same and he also has a very stubborn personality, is very sensitive, intensely smart and inquisitive- all in all - a perfect storm for continuous questioning boundaries, sass, testing the limits, being contentious and melting down over seemingly small things. It’s definitely tough at the moment, but I’m hoping when they start to emotionally regulate a bit better things will calm down a bit. Just be assured that it’s developmentally appropriate and normal at that age for them to be challenging everything. X
