Dehydration?! Advice please!!

I’m freaking out.. my little girl is 10 weeks old. I changed her nappy and fed her at 12.30am.. she then somehow slept through from 1.30am until 8.15am and even then I had to change her nappy to wake and feed her. I say change her nappy but is was bone dry even after that many hours. Is this something to worry about? She usually has a nappy change every 2-3 hours and it’s always wet so this is really out of the ordinary. I’m worried that she may be dehydrated for her to have gone that long of a stretch of sleep and still no wet nappy? I know some may think I’m mad for being worry about the long stretch but at 10 weeks I didn’t think that would happen and then the wet nappy has got me worried too! Advice please!!

How is she? Is she alert and acting normal? Is she drinking milk? Any sign of sickness That is quiet a long time for a small baby to not have a wet nappy Does her fontanella feel sunken?

Im a nurse btw ! Adult nurse but have some Paediatrics knowledge also

She seems fine in herself and nursing but not for as long as she usually does. There’s the dip but that’s still there at this stage isn’t it?

The advice is that if baby has not had a wet nappy for 8 hours that you take them to get checked out. However , babies do have a lot of fluid in their body I was assured and apparently not likely they get dehydrated If it was me I would phone nhs 24 xx

She just finally peed about an hour ago, thank god! Will keep an eye on it though and see how long until her next one
