Trapped wind? Stomach pains post section

I’m 7 weeks post emergency section and I started feeling better around the 4/5 week mark and felt fine no pain but the occasional back pains. Im not sure if it’s the running after toddler and mum duties around the house but this week I’ve had really weird stomach pains Left side just under my section scar and when I press around the area above it it feels quite sore to be precise and i get these sharp pains zaps almost in the mid section just above my belly button it kinda takes me back ,I had to take a paracetamol last night because the pain was a little much and I noticed it hurts more when I breastfed baby while we were in bed and when I lean over. Could this be trapped wind cos I am struggling with the toilet even tho I go every couple days it’s still very much constipated stools sorry tmi lol And my bum feels like it’s gonna fall out or I need to do a really big fart (again sorry tmi) I don’t know how to explain it I think it’s the haemorrhoids though? Anyone else or am I just rambling lol

Hiya. Yeah the zapping pains are what I had. I have had a follow up ultrasound and I have a resolving seroma which seems to be healing on its own it's a collection of fluid underneath my scar. It's so painful. Also I have a tunneling wound on the other side. So if your in pain push for it looked at and monitored. Xxxx

Try peppermint tea or capsules, if it’s trapped wind they will help to shift it x

I have weird aches and pains after my second CS. I believe some of them are nerve pains as not consistent or persistent. Could be burning or sharp needles. Sometimes the lower belly feels numb. These are getting better with time. However, earlier around 3 weeks PP - I was having sharp pains at a particular site and blamed it on trapped air. Later realized that while twisting and turning I had pulled my muscle and it was where the stitches were still healing. Tylenol and ibuprofen helped. Trapped air will cause similar pain or make it worse. Try semithicone along with stool softener. Hope this helps!!!

Peppermint oil capsules help amazingly with trapped wind. But i have similar pain on my left side above the incision and it is like sharp zaps, then dull aches. Doesnt feel like trapped wind to me.

Sounds like nerve pain. I would just try and rest and talk to your doctor.

If you’re breastfeeding then peppermint oil will dry you out. I would recommend gas-x and star of anise tea
