Why is he peeing himself?

I need some help, my son who is 4 started to pee himself this entire week. Somedays he been good at going to the potty and other days he doesn't. He is fully potty trained, so I have no idea why he isn't. I've tried the positive route, I tried to ask him and remind him to go which helps sometimes but he will end up being himself ir his bed. I ask him why he pees himself and he says I don't know why. Nothings changed in his life, I thought maybe he is constipated amd helped but nothings changed. I am running out of ideas and laundry detergent plz help. (Photo bc he is very cute)

Take him to the doctor. It can be emotional or psychological or physical. Something is going on with him. I hope you find out soon. I know this must be hard. Don’t be upset with him mama. Give him grace. Make sure he sleeps before bed and no drinks before bed.

Is he just wetting the bed or is he peeing himself during the day too?

I work in Early Intervention, I’m giving the disclaimer that I have not formally assessed your child but as a parent who works in the field of behavioral health, I’d ask/review a few questions: 1. Have there been any changes to the routine (big/small) 2. Has anything new been introduced or anything no longer available (this includes people)? 3. How has your attainment and quality time been when you’ve been available? 4. Does he attend daycare? Are they experiencing the same thing? 5. If he attends daycare or a sitter have you been getting push back about going? 6. This seems unrelated but has bath time remained the same (no pushback)? Feel free to DM if you have more questions. Bed wetting can be very common and a phase that you get out of. Start retraining like you did the first time and be consistent.

@Neena both

My daughter did this at daycare twice but she will also hold her bladder until she can’t anymore

@Kelsie dm you

Does he go to school? Does he have a babysitter? Is he left alone with anyone?
