Not normal..

I keep seeing posts on Instagram saying it’s normal that babies do not want to be put down and want to be close to their mothers during the fourth trimester.. however I feel like mine is the opposite?! He is happy in his Moses basket / next to me at night time and doesn’t like laying on my chest. 😭🥺

How old is your baby? Mine was the same for the first few weeks. He is only 4 weeks old now and he’s starting to show his personality a little bit more and crying to be picked up. Before he was quite happy to just be fed and changed and sleep 😴

Mine was like this for the first couple of weeks and now won’t let me have 5 mins to wash her damn bottles 😭🤣

I'd take it while you can! 🥲

My 2nd born was like this, he was so content not needing to be held constantly, think my 1st was pretty much the same. My 3rd and 4th have so far been my velcro babies, won't sleep unless attached to me or feeling like they are close to me

My first was like this and still is for the most part. He’s almost 3, he loves affection and hugs etc now but as a baby he didn’t like too much, preferred to self settle, happy to independently play.

Enjoy it. My first was like this but second is a velcro baby. I can't shower this time 😭😂
