Sounds like she’s treating that as a nap maybe?? 🤔 I do anything between 2-3 hours of wake window before bed but tonight as an example, she was crying and fussing and sucking her thumb (is what she does to put herself to sleep) as she was so sleepy and wanted to go to sleep but I was behind on everything so I couldn’t wash her on time and by the time I put her to bed she must have gone over and she was awake in her cot for about 25 minutes before she finally went to sleep. Normally she falls asleep instantly. It’s so hard to get that sweet spot right where they’re just tired enough but not overtired. What time do you do bedtime and how many naps is your baby having in the day? How long are wake windows?
2-3 hours x x
Our last wake window is usually between 2hours 40 and 3 hours x
We do between 2-3 hours and follow sleepy cues but she always pings back awake! Yes she struggles to connect sleep cycles all night long! She can self soothe and put herself down but it made no difference between that and feeding to sleep except feeding to sleep was quicker so we carried on doing that!
Yep mine does these false starts. I've found nothing makes a difference - it's often a sign my LO is going through a developmental leap as he did them during the 4 month regression then stopped for a couple of weeks now started again
Following. Reading the comments my little one is the same.
Sounds like she’s struggling to connect sleep cycles 😕
