What is the best way to make purées?

I’ve tried making some purées myself, I steamed the veg for 45 minutes then used a normal standard blender to try and make it into a purée but the blender seemed rubbish.. I’m not sure if there just want enough food in the blender… What is the best way to do it? Is there a good blender you’d recommend or a way to do it?

My HV has said to blend it with a hand blender and then freeze them into little cubes to save time instead of making them each time

You need some liquid in it too, BM/formula/water. As above I'd make a big batch then freeze as ice cubes that way it'll last you ages.

We use a nutra bullet to blend ours and works wonders comes out completely smooth

We add some formula or water from what the veg cooked in to thin it down. I also started with a hand blender and it left it really chunky no matter how much I blended so we bought a magic bullet and it’s so much easier! It was £30 on amazon. We then use silicone ice cube trays to freeze it 🙂
