@Tess I'm not shore when I ovulated tbh hun x
If you're not sure when you ovulated, you might have conceived as much as 5 days later, but that doesn't change anything I said except that you'd be about 4 1/2 weeks pregnant instead. Still not implantation bleeding.
@Tess I'm confused on the whole pregnancy counting. If counting from the 20th wouldn't it just be 3 weeks 3 days? I was always horrible at this.
@Jacqueline I'm confused allso x
They count from the "first day of your last period" which is assumed to be exactly 2 weeks before conception. If you know the actual first day of your last period, they'll count from then at least until they do a dating scan. It's a ridiculous method of counting because you are retroactively considered to have been pregnant for two weeks before you ovulated, even though you were obviously not actually pregnant then. It's extremely confusing at the start of a pregnancy.
@Tess ah ok thank you i don't have periods properly tbh I have a 1 year old and I didn't have a period since since 2017 and now ic had this bleed nothing since and again today my lower back is acheing I'm not shore when to do a test x
Also, even if you know the actual day of ovulation, they *won't* use it. I knew I ovulated over a week late the month I got pregnant, because I was tracking, but they insisted on using the first day of my last period until the dating scan. The dating scan showed the embryo was exactly as old as expected given the date I actually ovulated, so they switched my due date then. They made it very clear it was not because I always knew that was the correct date, but only because of the dating scan 😂
I think it's safe to test now! If you were ovulating around then, enough time has passed to see a positive.
Sounds like spotting. If you were ovulating on the 20th, you'd be a little over 5 1/2 weeks pregnant (crazy pregnancy counting), so could be early pregnancy spotting. If you're pregnant from conception on the 20th, implantation was a couple of weeks ago.
