Yeah mine just asked a load of questions and weighed him, my babies on 2 8oz bottles and 1 9oz before bed. When he turns one I’ll cut out the tea time bottle I think and just do morning and night x

I'm still waiting for mine to be booked in. We moved to a new area and had to register with a new HV team so I've not met them yet and only had a letter to say welcome to the area and we'll be in touch soon to book you in. I just can't believe how quickly this year has gone by 😭

Why are you stressed? It's not a test, all our babies do things at different times. My boy is on the slower end for his gross motor skills but faster for speech, also feeds way more than they say he should at this age but he clearly needs it. You'll be fine x

Tbf mines 1 in 3 weeks and we only had it last week or the week before. Honestly nothing to worry about at all x

I just had mine for my daughter, they asked her about how much she moves etc , can she pick things up or wave etc. They weighed her, talked to me about vitamins & discussed getting ready to wean off formula! My daughter is over 100th centile so a big girl & still having 4 bottles milk + water a day. Just do it slowly i was advised- keep wake up & bed time as formula/breast & try a cows milk at lunch time & then slowly cut it down that way :)

Mine has had hers. Nothing to stress about, it’s more for if you have any concerns you can get help. With my first I had some concerns at her later one (can’t remember age now…) and the hv got me an appointment at the hospital for her hearing almost straight away. She also contacted the nursery my daughter goes to and spoke to them when they raised some concerns to us. My little one is still on three bottles a day, only recently went down from 4. She normally has between 6-8 ounces per feed depending on what is going on

@Ebony I got a link sent to my phone to book my own appt x

@Catherine I tried 3 but I feel like I'm starving him. What times are you giving her a feed x

@Hayley I just feel like I'm starving him! Will you replace it with cows milk? I will speak to them tomorrow about this x

Couldn’t stand mine tbh. Felt it was quite pushy to have my child do as they see. I’m an occupational therapist and don’t see any issues with what she’s currently doing so have no plans to amend.

My health visitor didn't say anything about the milk I was giving. It might be because she has expressed breast milk but I said mine has between 3 to 4 bottles a day. They seemed happy with that. I think if it's formula they prefer 2 as that's what I've seen others advised

Don't stress about it. No one should judge you or tell you how to raise your own kid. I always went in with that state of mind with them lot, if they have any problem they can come and pay my rent and help me raise him 🤷🏾‍♀️ same thing as he can eat what he wants and when he wants, crawl if he wants to, and clap when he's ready. So yeah, long story short, don't mind them.

Got ours booked in April, don't stress about it tbh they shouldn't be judging you they are meant to be supportive. My girl is on 3 or 4 x 5oz 150ml bottles too. Since we're traveling when she turns 1 HV said to transition to cows milk on return.

@Hazel I've had it, I shouldn't have stressed he's met everything in all categories. Other mums have said what they experienced but HV were lovely x

@Martina thank you, just had it all good x

@Helen yeah they said Al is okay x

@Hayley mine was lovely .. sorry you went through that x

@Samantha glad it went well. I’ve never had a bad experience luckily x

Yeah I just had mine recently. They ask alot of random questions. My health visitor even said that some of the questions on the quiz don't even make sense half the time. But it was alright. Florence still has like 2 bottles a day. And isn't great at them, but she had no worries! Every baby is different ☺️

@Libby Florence i already had mine it was all good x

@Catherine thank you me too what a relief haha! Other people tell you different things don't they and I just panicked haha
