I plan on asking my ped this week for their idea of a āstaggered vaccine scheduleā we do not want to have so many vaccines given at once.
I feel the same way! I have 4 kids and have vaccinated the other 3 but am very hesitant about vaccinating the baby after hearing lots of different thingsā¦ I have no idea what to do š
My daughter (2) only has her 2month vaccines and my newborn only has RSV because he was a preemie. Still not sure how we want to continue with them but one I know my kids will not get is the MMR. Or at least all 3 at once. That is one of the more ādangerousā ones when it comes to vaccine injuries. I even know someone personally who was affected by that specific one. Iām not much help but thatās a combo one I would definitely look into.
Iām also going through this same hesitation and I need to figure out wether to give the vaccines or not.
Iām essentially going to only do one a visit. I donāt want him having 8 vaccines at once and if I have to come in 4 times over the month I do not care.
Hi! Healthcare worker here šš¼ vaccines save lives. Children used to die often from common illnesses. Any possible side effect of vaccine isn't as bad as the possibility of them dying. Measles used to be eradicated and now is back in the US again due to lower vaccination rates. It mostly affects children and is very contagious. One unvaccinated child has died this year already from it. It's so sad š and preventable Just curious-what are your hesitations?
My hesitations are seeing how SIDs happen shortly after the child is vaccinated and that MMR was linked with autism.
I will be giving my baby the vaccines that are required nothing that is optional. I know someone who did not get her child the measles vaccine and currently has measles. Also there is no proof that vaccines are causing autism
@Pavan Nagra where did you hear that it causes autism? vaccines do not cause autism or Sids. If you are unsure; talk to your pediatrician or a healthcare professional
Because this is supposed to be a āsafe and judgment free postā I will post my opinion š but I will definitely not be appreciative of anyone responding to my comment as I am just giving my opinion and what I have research. The pharmaceutical company gets bonuses for how many vaccines they give and they are in it for the money. Vaccines donāt save lives, they make children get more sick and actually compromise the opportunity to fight off sickness on its own and build a stronger immune system. The child in Texas who got the measles actually got it from the vaccine. I have family members and friends whose children were never the same after vaccines. I will not be giving my child any vaccines.
I donāt judge anyone who decides to give their children vaccines though, I just encourage you do real research.
Iām not doing polioā¦ unless we leave the country, itās unnecessary
@Mandy thereās polio in NY š
I will keep this simple. Whether you vaccinate your child(ren) or not, is up to you. I just ask that you please please do your research. What is done can not be undone. I am a fellow healthcare worker. My husband and I have chosen not to vaccinate our daughter based on the research we have conducted and me working in the field. They are a money grab for doctors and the more they administer the more money goes into their pockets. If they weren't then patients would not get discharged from a practice due to vaccine choice. I suggest you find a vaccine friendly (vaccine, delayed schedule, no vax friendly) ped regardless of your stance. You can use Dr Green Mom and find a list of vaccine friendly doctors near you. For me it was reading FDA inserts for the vaccines. If you fed your child the ingredients in the vaccine you'd go to prison. If anyone is interested, feel free to message me and I can share everything that I used for my research to help me make my choice. Happy researching!

I have a now 9yo and I personally only got the ones required for school. They have ones that arenāt on the photo you attached. Just find out whatās required for school at whichever tk/pk you plan on sending your child.
@Sabrina seems like itās vaccine derivedā¦ yet they still encourage the vaccine to stop the disease?
Dissolving Illusions by Suzanne Humphries and Roman Bystrianyk and is good one to read too. Iām not personally a fan for every kid, especially right away. We didnāt do any in the hospital w/ my first, and no COVID (RSV wasnāt an option) but other than that he got them bc he had to be at daycare in California for my last semester of college (he was about 1yr), and they no longer give any exceptions. He always had small reactions after getting them to the point where I told my husband he had to be there for the night and day after. Wonāt be giving by him anymore and wonāt be giving any other kids them. Out of all my siblings, the ones that were on schedule had health issues/always got sick, ones on delayed schedule werenāt as bad, and the ones without any had the best health/were rarely sick. Definitely read the inserts
A good thing to remember with vaccines is that they do not stop you from getting the sickness nor do they stop you from spreading it. A small portion of a dead cell is injected into to body so that your body has a chance to learn how to fight it off if itās ever exposed again, thatās all it does. At most itāll help any symptoms not be too bad when exposed again. As for babies immune system and why some people wait/do delayed schedule is bc babies immune systems arenāt fully developed. They do have antibodies that are passed on through the placenta. They last until 6 month pp but start deteriorating right away. Breastfeeding is way to replenish those and help their immune system learn to fight off new things. I have seen the stats on countries that do delayed schedules having lower Sidās rates. Iāve also read a lot of anecdotal evidence thatās shows that a lot of kids in the US that cause of death is listed as SIDs the only thing that was different w/in a 24-48 hr period before was š
@Julia I'm 100% on board with Vaccinations, amd I'm seeing a lot of moms here say things about staggering them out. I'm planning on going with my doctors recommendations, but what are your thoughts on staggering vaccines?
Because it's been in the news recently a friendly reminder that if your child is unvaccinated they will be ineligible for vital transplants. Recently girl who needed heart transplant was denied because she was unvaccinated. https://www.cincinnati.com/story/news/2025/02/11/girl-denied-heart-transplant-cincinnati-childrens/78328436007/
@Tetra Just read the article. Thatās crazy! For anyone who doesnāt want to read it, itās specifically the COVID-19 and flu vaccine. There is no mention of her vaccination status for any other vaccines.
@Rhianna It makes sense. A heart transplant requires the death of another person for it to happen. Why would they put that life in the body of someone who could easily die from covid right after.

For anyone wanting to learn more; Dr.Beachgem is a pediatrician in the ER that gives unbiased information and has been practicing for a while. @Aleigha where are you getting this info? pediatricians do not get paid for supporting /encouraging vaccines.Pediatricians are actually the lowest paid specialty out of physicians. Most pediatricians support vaccines because it's backed by evidence based research that it saves childrens lives. I respect the decisions of the parents and understand that everyone has different opinions but I also know there is A LOT of misinformation being spread. I want everyone to be equipped with all the info before coming to their own conclusions. Please listen to the people who have spent their lives going to school for this I wonder out of all the parents commenting- who has been vaccinated ? My guess is most. This crunchy mom trend & RFK jrs influence has caused an increase in unqualified people sharing information about vaccines that just aren't true
Iāll be vaccinating my kiddo because i want to give his immune system a head-start. āWhy learn the hard way and risk it?ā is my thought. Iām at peace with what Iāve read and researched. Iām sad to see so many parents living in fear because of misinformation.
