I'm sixteen weeks and I have a consultant appointment with the NHS today. Does anyone know what I should expect to happen during the appointment?

I think it's due to the fact of a quick birth with my first and low birth weight

I think they’ll just take about your options. Because I had that before my ecv appointment to talk about pain relief options etc but I guess it depends on what the consultants concerns are

I had mine just after my 12 week scan, they just go over a few things like risks etc, they will discuss and book you in for growth scans if needed, and just to talk about recent children / births. I'm now almost 28 weeks pregnant, my next consultant appointment is a few days after my 32 week growth scan and another growth scan and consultant appointment at 35 weeks pregnant, these appointments will be more detailed like discussing birth plans etc, whether you need to be induced or c section early, and at these scans be able to tell you estimate weight of baby x

Cause it's still quite early it won't be too much discussed x

I have a consultant due to having small babies both times & having quick labours both times x

I was consultant lead during my pregnancy. They just went through my medical history and any concerns (I was referred due to having pneumonia as a baby and asthma.) Glad I was because it turned out the nurse had got my questionnaire wrong and had put down I'd had lazer and not LEET plus biopsy on my cervix. So they checked I didn't need the early pregnancy team (which by that point would have been too late anyways). It was nice having the reassurance with them. I had a few extra obs and a few extra scans when they weren't happy.

I'm consultant lead this time after midwifery lead with my other 2 (it's due to my epilepsy this time) I have no idea either but mine is 26th March. How did it go?
