Tips on gassy baby?

Need help with this too. I literally just placed an order for gas drops because I’m at a loss

Following, we are 18 weeks tomorrow and he js extremely gassy, nothing worked … wondering if cmpa … 😫

I heard Grip Water works very well. My baby is gassy and when we go to the doctor’s tomorrow I’m going to ask if she can take it as she may not be 7 pounds yet.

For us the following helped: Try feeding more up right and burp more frequently then you are/ think you should. Mylicon drops can help. Check to see if you have a tongue tie as this might affect the latch causing more air to be swallowed. If a tongue tie is not an issue work on the latch to avoid air being swallowed. Football hold helped us. Also Frida wendi!

Feed him in an upright position! Sometimes the flow is too fast and it’s hard to catch a break when lying down to feed. Mine gets gas this way

Gripe water helps our little guy! We use the mommy bliss kind. Our pediatrician also told us tummy time helps them relieve gas as well!

My pediatrician suggested Mylicon, and she said it’s fine to give him after a feed (no more than 12 doses per day tho) sometimes when they don’t burp it, it turns into gas in their tummy.

Hoping someone has tips… my baby is so so so gassy. We tried gripe water and gas drops they don’t help. The windi kind of helps but she’s so gassy I feel like we’d have to do it multiple times and I don’t want to do that to her 😩

Right before feeding I lay her flat for a few mins then put her on her belly for a few seconds (until she tells me she’s over it) then back onto her back and that helps her fart then make sure you’re burping her plenty during feeds and I keep her upright at least 10 mins after feeding. I was also told if you’re going to use gas drops that they’re more effective if you do it right before a feeding instead of afterwards
