Independent play

How much independent play are your babies having? Like throughout the whole day, in total, 1 hour for example? By independent I mean, on their play mat or bouncer, with little to no interaction with you. I feel like I am constantly trying to entertain my little one, and she now doesn’t like to be alone for more than 3 minutes, but I need to eat and pee sometimes!

I’d estimate about 1 - 1.5 hours a day (not in one go)

🫣 probably like 4 hours. I think he has like 4 wake windows so that's probably about right. 1st one I have to get his 3 year old sister up and take her to nursery as well. 2&3 I probably take half an hour in each to take him in the kitchen put him in the bouncer, play nursery rhymes and do dishwasher/washing/cooking. 4th one his dad and sister are home so we are all together and have dinner etc then bedtime routine. I kinda rotate between tummy time, baby gym and jumperoo. He's quite a content baby never been particularly clingy. I was the same with his sister and she's turned out great 🤷🏽‍♀️

Like 5 minutes?😂😂😂 my little boy has been so needy recently and won’t be on his own for more than 30 seconds 😂 he’ll play on his mat, aslong as I’m sat with him, or he’ll sit in his bouncer, aslong as I’m holding his hand😂

None! I have a velcro baby and we're so not there yet!

probs the same as @Elle (throughout the day, not all at once)

@Chloe I'm with you on this😂

Maybe 2 hours or so?

@Sophy so glad it’s not just me😂
