Pain killers after section

Hello, I was just wondering how long you girls took paracetamol and ibuprofen for after section? I’m day 10 atm and feel when I forget to take some I’m in pain so just wondering when to stop. Thanks :)

I took for two weeks around the clock. After that I never felt any pain.

Hey I kept taking mine for 3 weeks every 4 hours so I don’t feel any pain keep taking them and if your feeling pain after then get in touch with your GP

5 weeks. I’m 5 months pp today and I’m honestly still in pain but it’s manageable.

Take them for as long as you need them. Just make sure, especially with ibuprofen you're eating prior to taking the tablets :)

I took it on and off for 20 weeks. Dyahydracodine for 14 days though

Felt i could half the dose after 2 weeks and that was a mistake. After couple days felt much worse. Apparently it's very important to keep taking even if you have minimal pain. 4 weeks off all pain relief

I took mine for 2 weeks solid after that i took them here and there only when i felt pain which wasn’t much.

I took it for 1 and half week. I was walking a lot so it ease the pain more… when u in pain just take them. If u don’t feel like u need it don’t take because u can get addicted to them.

Like clockwork the first 2½ weeks, with some codeine on bad days. Now I'm 4+3 weeks pp and take as needed. Just remember that you could be fine in the morning but if you do too much, you could be hurting that evening or the next day. I've made that mistake lots now

Emergency with first and took for 3 days. Elective this time round and took for 7 days xx

I took mine for the first week then would take dyhydracodine when I felt I needed it. Max 2 weeks I took mine.

What have you been told? I'm 4 days post section and stopped everything, very mobile but I was soon as my catheter was out and I was home 24 hours after 3rd section I've had
