Clomid help!

Hi all, Looking for some help. With my previous two pregnancies I conceived using clomid as I have ovulation problems and now have two lovely boys. I’d love to have a 3rd child. I recently suffered a miscarriage and I thought taking clomid again might be a good idea to conceive. I’ve been thinking about taking the left over clomid I have- it has been a few years. Anyway I took my first pill a few days ago (day two of my period) and I havent taken anymore since. I’ve been so worried and thought it was silly of me to do so as I’m not being monitored. I’ve had awful headaches since and now I’m thinking that maybe I should have taken the rest of the packet? Does anyone know if I’ll ovulate much sooner because I’ve just taken the one pill on day two or do you know it won’t make much difference? Any advice appreciated! Thank you

I took clomid to get pregnant and I'm not sure but I wasn't monitored either I had just been diagnosed with pcos having irregular periods for over a year

I would have finished the course though hun was they in date

I think it depends what dose you're on. I look letrozole which is similar and I was prescribed 5mg for 5 days but some people are prescribed 2.5mg for 4/5 days I believe and some are given 10mg. So you might have a high dose and still ovulate off one tablet? I'm not sure though... I guess you can't rule it out

@Kimberley yes they were. I was just nervous about being unmonitored really. So I’ve only taken one! Xx

@Kimberley not sure where to find the expiry date

@Serrina Hook I’m on 50 mg

On the box

For PCOS, it works best cd 5-9 (5 tablets). I was never monitored on clomid or femara, inly for IVF meds. Just make yourself familiar with the symptoms of ohss, and if you have any seek treatment, otherwise it should be fine. Especially if it is the same dose the dr gave you last time

@Kayla I’ve only taken one pill This time as I was frightened tbh. Not sure what’s going to happen? Headaches are unbearable even just on one headache!

I always took mine at bedtime to sleep through the majority of the side effects.
