Those are generally prescribed as the bare minimum of what you need from your prenatal or multivitamin during pregnancy. Often the prenatals and multivitamins have iron in them (as well as a lot of unnecessary additions that aren’t really necessary for most) that can make you feel sicker. Every iron supplement I tried put me in hospital because it makes the symptoms so bad, there are studies on it. So it’s likely they meant for you to only take the folic acid and thiamine and discontinue the multivitamin for now. But definitely check if you’re not sure and you really want to keep on your prenatal. I know for a fact, my prenatals made me much sicker though. I took them post pregnancy for breastfeeding support and as a general multivitamin so they didn’t go to waste.
I took Thiamine (high dose - I had a deficiency) and seven seas pregnancy multi vitamins. There’s only a very small amount of thiamine in multivitamins. I took more than 100 x that dose a day for my deficiency. So it depends why you were prescribed thiamine. Very important to take it if you need it as a deficiency can be very dangerous for you both. I wasn’t prescribed folic acid so got that from multivitamins.
I recommend calling your doctor and asking. You’ll be more confident on what to do after talking to them.
