Child benefit

Received my child benefit yesterday it says on my bank statement £105 but only received £25.60 , don't they usually back date it ? It looks like my bank have taken the rest even though my last transactions are clear

Check if you haven’t over drawn

Your bank can't take it. If the statement said £105 went in then that's what went in. If you were over drawn it could have been used to pay off that debt

I just looked at your statement. The bank did not take ur money. CB paid you £25.60. You had £100 in your account and u took out £20. So 80 + 25.60 =105.60 and that’s your available balance. CB did not pay you 105. 105 is your available balance

@Linda so you had £100 in the bank, you took £20 of cash out, and you were paid £25.60. So you had £105.60 left after the cash withdrawal. That looks right

@Charley thanks I'm not going with the maths side , I don't understand bank statements these days 🙈
