Back pain.

While out walking I get to a point where my lower back starts to have this sharp stabbing feeling. Goes away once I’m home and relaxing. On Saturday it happened again but it hasn’t gone since - when I’m resting it’s okay but every step I take it’s so painful in my lower back/ kind of into my left side and down. Paracetamol does nothing, i stretch every morning & night anyway, isn’t helping. Anyone else had this/know what this could be? Struggling to walk for longer than 5 minutes 🥲

Forgot to say I’m 25 weeks + 6. I’m not massive but I definitely have a bump if that plays into it.

Possibly sciatica or round ligament pains? I end up on my birthing ball for a while when mine plays up x

Sounds like sciatica.

@Megan I use the birthing ball but I’ll try use it more each night especially when it’s bad!, I’m just struggling a bit where it hasn’t eased for a few days now whereas before it was more on and off 🥲

@Elisha gonna look into some exercises for this to see if it helps, never felt pain like it 🤣🥲

@Millie its nerves rather than muscle. Which is why it feels different. Hope it eases soon for you x

@Millie a lot is to do with the position baby is lying in if they are right up against the nerve it will be worse ❤️ that’s what I use the ball for trying to convince them to move in to a different place 😅

My only cure was to sit straight in a proper posture (hard i know). Don't lean back on a sofa and deep cold pads

@Hannah thank you, I’ll make sure to do this. Anything that helps!
