Colicky baby ?

My new born might have colic and I've never dealt with it first hand with any of my little ones .. she's uncomfortable laying down and passing lots of gas , crying while feeding and only wants to be upright most the time I've tried gripe water and it seems to be helping a bit but I wanted to hop on here and see if any mommas had other remedies for such discomfort let me know in the comments section 🫶 thanks 🤍

Following because I think my baby boy may be dealing with this too

I’m sorry. I dealt with this with my first one. It’s awful. They make gas drops and turn the air into liquid so they can pass it.

I’ve heard changing bottles and changing the type of formula helps a lot, some babies don’t tolerate certain formulas. I used chamomile tea I guess it’s more of a Hispanic tradition? But it helped calm the stomach.

My daughter had it. Doctor told us it was normal for babies to cry and be uncomfortable 😠 I was leaving the office and the reception/nurse told me to try changing her formula to Nutrimigen hypoallergenic/lactose free. My child went from crying literally all day unless she was feeding or sleep to being completely normal in two days. Best thing I could have ever done 🙂

I absolutely hate how much difficulty newborns have with digestion. My little one is having a ton of gas as well and needing to be kept upright a lot to avoid extra spit up. Trying to get our hands on Extensive HA (Nestlé, formerly Gerber) through WIC, but having trouble finding a store that carries it.
