Sex postpartum

Hey mamas ....so its a whole 2 months since I've given birth naturally and I had some stitches 5 I think I've not had sex yet even thou at my Lo 6 weeks check up I did ask the midwife questions and she said everything is good and I should go for so she basically cleared me ...I'm so scared that I did not even attempt to try yet this is my 4th baby for my other 3 I went on without any approval and when I felt ready but this time I'm so scared like what if I bleed or something Sorry for the long post Please help a Mama out

I had a few stitches and had sex around 4 weeks in as my stitches had dissolved etc and im back on the pill, i didnt bleed at all Some positions are still a bit tender for me but extra lube can help if you're worried about friction Definitely take it slow if you're still worried🥰

You really won’t bleed, as long as all the stitches have healed up. It’s not going to get teared again, obviously be sensible. But since this is your 4th child, it’s really not worrisome at all. Do what you normally do, if it gets too sore, just use lots of lubricant to help. The both times I have birth I ended up with third degree tears and had some stitches too. Once they’re all healed up, it looks and feels normal. Trust your body. Obv if you’re still not that comfortable just communicate and talk it out with your husband.

All stitches and scars are healed ...I just have this horrible anxiety of being intimate and something goes wrong
