@Makenzie been two days no diapers at all even during nap and night sleep, only underwear
Go bottomless
@Makenzie you mean no underwear too? 😱
I would do bottomless until she is confident with going to the potty. Then go to pants only. You will toggle between bottomless and pant for a while. I think I introduced undies at 2 weeks in to be safe . Undies are similar to diapers so may cause confusion
Mine also use potty around the house. We have mobile potty like yours and one inside rest room. Let me read the book you mentioned before. Thank you for your suggestion! @Makenzie
@Lita I second the Oh Crap book! Potty trained our daughter in a little over a month. Was using the potty by like day 2 but wasn’t ready to call her potty trained till no consistent accidents and using the big toilet so yay! One of the hardest things I’ve done since giving birth but push through! If you have any questions don’t hesitate to message me. I had other questions that were answered in the book
@Lita my son is the same way lol he would already pee or poop and be like Mama I pooped 😂 so it's like he tells me after the fact that he's already done it lol but we're not giving up there sometimes where he sits on the potty by himself and be like Mommy look lol
Mine has been bottomless except naptime and bedtime and the accidents helped her realize. So after ONE WEEK of no bottoms at alllll, she officially completely only pees in the potty. Two days ago was her first poop in the potty and it started off as an accident but it ended in the potty. Then she didn't poop for two days which is unlike her. Because she poops once a day. And today she went and sat on her potty all by herself and pooped! YAY! Yesterday she peed a teeny bit on a chair of hers and she asked me for a wipe and went and wiped it up?!!? The shock on my face. I even had company. I was so proud. But I definitely think being bottomless helps a lot! I still can't believe it took all of a week 😭
She will also try and take out the dish to hand it to us so we can empty it. It's scary when she does that because like please don't accidentally spill it. But so far, so good. She's such a good girl (most of the time) it makes me want to cry 😭
@Tanisha I tried bottomless one day yesterday and tbh I’m quite afraid lol especially for the poop part🤣
They get pretty good at not wanting to soil themselves! My daughter was horrified when she had a wee accident with poop. And her poop always starts off hard and then ends soft 😅 so the hard parts were super easy to dispose off. The soft parts in the potty made me want to gag haha
Is she wearing diaper diapers constantly? Cause if she is I would ditch them. It’s probably confusing her more. I followed oh crap potty training for my 22 month old and she is now 2 and fully potty trained.
