I gave birth at Watford General Hospital 11.03.2022 and everything was briliant. I was c section if thats matter. All midwifes was lovely ,but only one of them was little not very helpful. I told her i need some help just to stand up from the bed and she told me i need to it alone if i want to go home and she didnt help me.
I gave birth at Watford hospital in November (csection) and most midwives were brilliant. You’ll get the odd one but most of them were great.
I gave birth at watford General and my midwives were the sweetest most supportive medical staff I could have hoped for. I will say though make sure you're informed about different forms of inductions beforehand should u need it. They tried to explain it to me so i could choose but my brain was not with it haha all in all though a great experience. Oh also before I forget, the night nurses post giving birth? Absolutely angels! Don't feel shy about calling them any time you need.
I hired private midwives, they work as a team of two and they are amazing. I wanted to completely check out of the nhs system. They came to my house for all antenatal appointments, did my bloods, the usual nhs checks, lots of education on what to expect, breastfeeding support, the usual newborn checks are all done at home etc. I had a home birth in a pool, unmedicated and had the best recovery too. Best investment we made. Let me know if you have any questions! X
I have birth at Watford General, and had a lovely experience! The midwife’s there are amazing and I felt so safe and at ease. You’ll be in good hands ☺️
I gave birth at Watford hospital a few weeks back. All the midwives that I encountered were so lovely and kind. They all took the time to explain everything and made sure that I was as comfortable I could be at all times. I can't speak for a Home birth experience but if it is the same team, then I hope you also have a lovely experience too x
