Honey, it sounds like you’re going through a really rough time. You need to talk to a professional to help you through this. If you’re low income, the insurance you get should probably cover mental health services.

@Misty so moms can’t have mental health problems?

@Misty people like u r y people like me never ask for help…

@Misty this is actually the stupidest comment I’ve ever seen.

@Misty this is not helpful and obviously ignorant towards mental health struggles.

Please do reach out for help. I am a mobile crisis worker, please use 988 if you need help

I have BPD, and have always struggled with it a LOT. I have moments that are very difficult and moments that are amazing. I would say you’re in a pretty dark place with your mental health if you are feeling this bad, I would seek help as soon as possible, please keep yourself and your little one safe. I hope that you can get the help you guys need, look after yourself x

What you are feeling is valid. Being a parent can be extremely challenging and add in dealing with mental health struggles, it can sometimes feel impossible. I would recommend medication if you aren’t against it. Also, let people around you know that you are struggling and that you need to take frequent breaks to re-charge. You’ve got to take care of you first before you can take care of others. I hope things can turn around for you. I know that it is hard!

Well idk if u mean bipolar disorder or borderline personality disorder. I personally have bipolar and I understand exactly how you feel. The overstimulation from screaming, being touched out feeling lost. But its important to do things for yourself too. It really helps the depression and help bring your mental health better. When dad takes baby take that time to shower/bath, eat something without having someone harping on ur food. The most important thing is to not bedrot which is hard but you have to push through. I feel like the more you pour back into ur cup itll help your mood. Its honestly been helping me and i havent had a low in a while and when i do go low its no more than a week. If you want to dm me im open to!

@Yetzylee Borderline personality disorder

Hi I have bpd and I know how unhelpful most those comments you’ve gotten so far are. Some advice from my experience; Headphones. 🎧 truly my savior. Also Try engaging in temperature changes & straight up movement, or opposite action. It’s ok if weed is apart of the tool box, but it being the only tool you can locate in the box is not okay.

@Parker 又 I do music to and my fav tv shows but nothings been working so idk what to do anymore

If you haven’t tried different things outside the norm then you dunno what’s gonna work yet. That’s ok. It can take a second, doesn’t mean there’s not an answer 🤷‍♀️ maybe get some roller skates & start learning how to groove on em (I’m heavily considering it myself is why it’s my example here lol)

@Parker 又 I used to long board but got into a bad accident and have been scared to get back on since and my board broke in accident so I don’t even have one anymore… it could also be cuz I’m fat and hate myself anyways and it’s hard af to lose my weight I went from being anorexic to smoking weed and eating and haven’t found out how to stop I just eat when I feel hungry or I’m bored and idk how to stop

This guys account makes me cry in a good, helpful way. (I’ll come back with more suggestions too) https://www.instagram.com/reel/DHRpiU4S9lB/?igsh=MXQydDF3bXUzNG54Nw==

@Yetzylee BPD stands for BORDERLINE PERSONALITY DISORDER 🤦‍♀️

@Abby it does, but people who don’t have the diagnosis often jump to assuming it’s “bipolar disorder” even tho that’s just abbreviated to “bd” (and “bp” in the dsm & insurance coding) so people get confused.

@Abby i understand that but bipolar depression is also sadly the same acronym. Most people just say bipolar but there are different types and you just cant Say bipolar cause theres depression and mania where you’re either getting super low lows with little to no highs, super high highs with little to no highs or type 3 which u have super high highs and super low lows.

@Abby im gonna let u think that because i tried to educate you where i already said most people use just bipolar but its inaccurate to the diagnosis as there are 3 different types. When most people who are diagnosed with bipolar depression, like me, its easier to say bpd than bipolar depression. A lot of mental health illnesses have the same acronyms and theres nothing we can do about it but just understand some mental illness have the same acronyms.

Im not saying theyre the same. I know that my love. Im just saying they have the same acronyms. Where you will split i will just either crash into a depressive episode or a manic one. Im not uneducated in mental health. There are similar symptoms but not enough for us to have anywhere near similar experiences.

@Yetzylee so, bipolar depression / bipolar disorder is abbreviated to “bd” (by those with the diagnosis) or “bp” (by insurance coding & the dsm) there’s a variation of bipolar disorder that’s abbreviated to “bpad” (Bipolar Affective Disorder) which is as close as you’d get to finding an abbreviated version of bipolar that is the same as bpd.

@Parker 又 thank you for the information. Ig my therapist was a bit outdated in terminology as she had always referred my bipolar as bpd. I appreciate the education and correction as some therapist can be outdated/just plain wrong.

@Yetzylee very true unfortunately! It’s not the first time I’ve seen or experienced someone asking which diagnosis the abbreviation was being used to denote & to me, it makes sense why people think to add all three letters for either one lmfao

@Parker 又 yup cause 2016 when i heard bpd from even neurotypical people they usually were talking about bipolar. I wasnt diagnosed until 2018-2019 and i was able to not need therapy/meds anymore so my terminology was outdated. I appreciate you educating me instead of just telling me im wrong with no information as to how. I love to learn especially about mental health since Ive suffered with no help until i finally got a therapist. Most of my knowledge (which is a lot surprisingly) is all self taught and i correctly self diagnosed myself which is crazy. I was misdiagnosed for 2 years before getting my correct diagnosis and i honestly never looked back.

@Yetzylee of course! I know the struggle ❤️‍🩹 & also love learning (: Both disorders are stigmatized pretty heavily by anybody who doesn’t have personal experience living with it, and the stigmatization leads to so much confusion or ignorance that extends to ~professionals~ of the field lol

@Parker 又 great comment and great suggestions

@Parker 又 agreed. I hate when people say “you’re so bipolar” or “omg im so bipolar i cant choose xyz” ive even had ex friends call me bipolar as an insult even after my diagnosis and I responded with “I literally am bipolar and im not even in a dip or high” its even much more than just highs and lows. Both bipolar and bpd are becoming trends/insults and its disgusting. These are things that is a struggle to not only manage but overcome. Im lucky to not even need meds anymore because i couldnt even survive without them at one point. I feel for everyone who goes through any mental illness because its a hard struggle but pushing through it and not letting it take control of ur life is the only way it gets better.

@Parker 又 @Yetzylee what are you both doing arguing on this post like children? The poor girl is obviously struggling Nd neither of you took the time to offer any advice … just go at each other… like what? To OP: I’m genuinely sorry you’re going through this, maybe dad can take baby for a few hours each day and you can try working out! I know not everyone loves it but it gets your endorphins pumping and gets your mood to improve if you get into a routine! Also I genuinely would recommend seeing a doctor. Again not everyone loves doing that but medication might be the best route to get you back on track and feeling better mentally. You’re going to get back to feeling yourself it might just take some time ❤️ Post Partum is also tough, I know your sons a bit older but it takes 2 years to fully recover.

@Bree we did not argue?? We shared information and experiences. And I shared helpful info with the op and reached out to her outside peanut.
