Yeah we got a second hand next to me for downstairs only and will get a new mattress. You could use the carry cot from your travel system though but I just wanted one for easiness in case baby finds it more comfy! X

I've got one for downstairs and a next to me for upstairs.

I havent bothered, plan on just using the carrier from the pram to save money x

I’m having one for downstairs and then a crib beside my bed upstairs Moses basket downstairs definitely isn’t a necessity though

This is my second. I’ve got a new Moses basket for next to bed. My first wouldn’t sleep in the next to me for ages but settled in Moses basket. Downstairs, pram is great

I live in Germany and literally no one has one of these. With my first baby I mostly put him on the floor in a “nest” or car seat.

With my first, we were too excited to put him down in the moses basket & held him constantly 😂 This time, we will put it in the living room again but pretty sure the same thing will happen & it ends up sadly unused back in the attic 🤷🏻‍♀️

I had a moses basket with my 1st downstairs and will definitely use it with this baby too. For us it was amazing, we had it in our living room

I had one with my first and used it downstairs for naps for a long time. I’m doing the same again this time.

@Kate please be careful when giving advice. Babies especially newborns cannot be in the car seat for very long.

@Holly yeah you’re totally right. Car seat is not a safe nap place but ours always fell asleep within mins of going in the seat (not even moving in the car) 🙈 we used travel cot downstairs now I remember… which was flat.
