Playing independently

Anyone got any tips to help a 2.5year old play independently? She plays okay on her own when I'm busy doing stuff, but I've been sick recently and cannot get a lie down without her pestering me.

Making laying down part of the game - she can draw round your palm, or pretend she’s your doctor, or you can only guess the animal sound she’s making with her eyes closed, stickers on a box by your side?

Give her a sensory bin of cheerios. She can eat them, crunch them, throw them, hide them, find them, dig in them, string them, make shapes out of them etc, etc... It's a low effort, high interest activity, and a go-to for when I was sick with littles.

Mine loves pots and pans, the vacuum, anything that’s not a toy but safe basically lol
