@Lou Thank you so much for this Lou 💖 Congratulations on your successful transfer, this has given me a lot of hope! Did you do anything specific during your TWW? (Here's me worrying that after 24h of rest I could have impacted my success by carrying a bag of groceries to my car 😂🙈)
Drink pomegranate juice, Also a few small slices of pineapple, not too much.
Im currently pregnant with my fresh little 5AB.. Nothing wrong with fresh at all! The statistics of fresh and frozen are about the same.. I've had a ride that's for sure, Test day I was admitted into hospital with severe OHSS! Nurse accidently told us we were pregnant in a&e, So that was fun!.. Baby and I are doing absolutely fine so far, Obviously its been an emotional ride 🤣🫶🏻💖 Sending lots of luck and sticky vibes!! X
It was 3 years ago so can’t really remember but think I tried to get out for a short walk each day. Though definitely did nothing for the first day and made my husband do everything. In all honesty I think it’s just the luck of the draw. I don’t think there is anything you can do now to change the outcome, you have done all you can with medication etc and you are amazing for getting this far, the things we have to do eh! X
I've done 3 egg collections and 2 transfers. First transfer was frozen and didn't stick. Almost 28 weeks with my fresh transfer
My first fresh embryo transfer is 3 years old ❤️ I remember the two week wait - I largely carried on as usual and tried to pretend none of it was happening. Obviously I avoided heavy exercise though. Try to stay hydrated and focus on taking your drugs as per instructions. There’ll be all sorts of weird and wonderful things to do that people might recommend - you can choose to go all in on that stuff if it helps you or just choose to ignore it! I found it best to tell myself upfront to wait 12 days before testing rather than deliberate each day whether to test and then agonise over very faint lines and line progressions. That’s just me though, you know yourself best so decide on a strategy that works best for you! Try to think long term - if you’re going through this process multiple times, then it’s good to be aware of what helps you mentally and what doesn’t. Staying sane puts you in the best position for test day - regardless of what news you get. Good luck x
Well done on getting this far, it’s a hard journey. I was successful on my first fresh transfer. I sobbed uncontrollably the day before I tested as was 100 percent convinced it hadn’t worked. I didn’t have one symptom. As soon as I got a positive all the symptoms came. 😂 It really can happen. Wishing you lots of luck ❤️
