Rejected by Anima system
Our GP has just moved to Anima and I've filled it out today due to a burn that's become infected. I clearly put on there that I'm housebound so require a telephone appointment because I can't attend a walk in clinic or my normal GP in person.
They offered me a face to face appointment!
I declined it because that was the only option and redid the form and made it extremely clear that I can't leave the house and this time they've said that they don't think any further action is required?
How can it go from a face to face appointment to being denied treatment? I'm presuming my only possibility is to call 111 now but they'll just tell me to contact GP 😕

@Jodie They said "We've looked at your request and believe no further action is required". I also uploaded a photo with the online form that clearly showed infection signs 😕 They won't accept any phonecalls apparently, they'll only direct people to Anima
I would call 111 tomorrow and explain the situation, see what they say. This was before my GP moved to anima but 111 was able to get me a GP appointment a few times, some on the phone.

my guess is because they want to examine the wound, but there are other ways of doing so such as asking you to upload picture/s. i’d just ring the gp tomorrow and explain!
