Potty training help please (FTM)
So my daughter has been sitting on the toilet for a while now first thing in the morning, before baths and sometimes before naps! Not always successful but has done it for a while and is happy on the toilet! She is scared of the potty though…
This week we decided to go all in and start potty training! She’s been in pants the last two days (won’t go without anything) and yesterday she did okay, 2 successful wee’s on the toilet and only 3 accidents (one being poo)
Today she has been in pants again and has done 1 successful wee and has done 5 accidents (all wee)!
Am I doing the wrong thing? I keep taking her to the toilet every 30 mins and whenever I see the signs, she sits on the toilet for ages and then when we eventually get off within 2 minutes she has an accident!
Any help or support? Getting very confused from googling, and don’t know what is best!!!

Hey if you’re in the house I’d keep her naked bottom down for a good few days so she understands and you can get her in the potty in seconds. She’ll soon understand and then you can reintroduce pants. Pants and a nappy feels the same to her and when she’s distracted she’ll forget. I potty trained my little boy at 22 months. Also sticker charts really helped my little boy.
@Alice she’s recently had chicken pox and when she had them she was scared of the spots so had to be completely covered up… so now she won’t let me not put something on her 🤦🏼♀️

Following cause girl same. My girl will sit for a long time on the toilet then get off and pee behind the couch 😩 def a little defeating but I’ll know she will have to go cause she will be crossing her legs and squirmy
