@Charlie thank you! Honestly it does feel like it. I always thought I'd want more kids but just feels like there's no end to this. I've been seeing one privately cause the NHS waits are ridiculous, now she's progressed me to doing pelvic floors on all fours. I've been doing pelvic floors 2/3/4x a day since day 2, so it makes me question if it has been helping at all 😭 Thank you, that's so reassuring though!
I spent days crying after i found mine. I had a quick appointment with a doctor who said very quickly, yes you have a stage 2-3 prolapse, I’ll refer you to gynaecology and that was it. So i resorted to google and convinced myself i’d never have anymore children. Didnt help, it took 7 months for gynaecology to see me and that was with an urgent referral! It does take a long time to be first seen but I must admit now I have been seen they are pretty on the ball. It will all be helping, even if it doesnt feel like it now so don’t give up hope x
I was 26 with my first and when I found my prolapse. I thought it was the end of the world when i first discovered it but now 29 and just had my second child. What I will say is that 14 week pp is still very early and everything is still changing. After my second my prolapse seemed a lot worse but now my body has had time to heal it’s no worse off than it was prior to my second, so give yourself time to heal. If it’s a minor prolapse, there are things you can do to improve it - have you been referred for physio? In terms of heavy lifting, it’s not recommended but personally, I haven’t stopped doing that - I carry my children around daily and my eldest weighs a tonne 🤣
