Aquarium pass, parks, museums have free days or discounted, rose gardens, beach, hikes that don’t require crazy climbing, play gyms have like a 10 visit for 100 which is cheaper than 30 a day for a 2 hr pass, we go to the mall, a little brunch so we get food and outdoor time at the same time, movies on Tuesdays for like 5 bucks
We have a zoo membership and then we go hiking a lot! Use AllTrails to find hiking spots near you!
Thakk you ladies. I'll look into all of this.
Go to the library, our local one has toddler times for you & other moms to get together with the kids
@ASHLEY I'd have to goto one clear across town hun. The one by us doesn't do anything for babies or toddlers
We bought a couple 10 pass packs at two of the play places near us (actually my mom bought us) so it's nice to go and not spend. I pack a big lunch that we can share and snacks. Sometimes I feel too broke to go somewhere that we have to pay for parking. My husband and I share a car so we have our indoor days too but I also appreciate them for being no spend. We haven't really locked in friends to go have play dates because that would be nice and free.
We have a aquarium and zoo yearly pass, we pay for it on a monthly plan and if we go 3*+ a year it’s really worth it. Other places are cheap playcentres, (there’s one near me that has “cheap Tuesday $5) libraries, kids museums, beach, pools, friends house, even though I go to the “park” I look for a new one, I go park hopping, and there’s 3 types of parks near me- water park, skate park, normal park. (And nature park) I think I’ve been to 20 different “parks” over the years. I can spend easily spend 4-5hrs walking around at ikea, or a big mall. Taking the train or bus somewhere is a whole fun ride in itself sometimes. I don’t spend much just social - food parking petrol and entrance.
