Lactose Intolerance

Those with Bubs with intolerances, what were the symptoms? My 6 week old goes in and out of struggling to pass wind and poo and when he does, the poo seems to have a fair bit of mucus/stringy-ness. GP has told me that mucus is normal due to his new digestive system although I find it strange that not every poo has the mucus.

Reflux was the first sign at week 1 and explosive nappies we didn't realise were related. No other rashes or symptoms at that point, everything else arrived after. Took us a long and traumatic 3 months to be diagnosed after being dismissed that everything was 'normal'. My friends babe's only symptom was wind and not being able to be put down/ sleep independently, took until 8 months to develop the rest of the symptoms, i think it can be a quick or delayed onset. I think they told me mucus can be normal but not in every nappy. Hope you get answers asap xx

Me and my daughters dr thought it was reflux for 11m but once we switched to soy she was fine shes now on pea protein milk

My babe developed a pretty severe nappy rash and was inconsolable from tummy ache so was crying constantly. Got better overnight after switching to lactose free formula
