Cradle cap

Hey, my little one has some, I would say, mild to moderate cradle cap, and yesterday I noticed a smell to it as well (difficult to describe). It doesn’t look infected at all, so I was wondering if anyone else noticed it? And how are you treating your babies cradle cap? Are you washing the hair every day? Thank you 🙃

My baby’s started to smell too, almost vinegary? I have started using some cradle cap shampoo every 2/3 days and using the Frida cradle cap brushes. I don’t do it too much as I don’t want to irritate her scalp, she has quite sensitive skin. It’s getting the bigger, smelly flakes away

@Nicole thank you. I just got worried it might turned into a fungal infection 🙈. But we are at the doctors on Monday anyways, so I might ask about the smell. 😊

I put baby oil on my girl left it 5 minutes and used lice comb all gone

Coconut oil works a dream and lightly brush her hair and it helps xx

It smells and it’s harmless. Cradle cap came off with my LG’s hair. I’m soooo sadd cause she was born with lots of hair

I only use coconut oil, every other thing I’ve used makes it worse! Coconut oil has cleared it complete xx

I use coconut oil too and wait a bit till it softens then use a comb. It hasn’t completely cleared yet as I’m not doing it daily but it’s definitely getting better xx
