I don’t know what to do to help him

My little one has such trouble pooping or passing gas that he screams about it, will keep himself awake over it. All the lovely push your brain to explode because you can do nothing other than try to hold a binky in his mouth while he screams through it. Pediatrician said oh it’s fine because his stools and diapers are good. But I still feel like there has to be something wrong. Or at least something I can do to help. Any advice or words of wisdom?

Here for the comments cause my 3 week old is going through it!!!!

I personally haven’t used it on my little guy but have heard great things about the Frida windy!

My baby is about to be 4 weeks but started the gassy thing right before hitting 3 weeks. I’m talking crying inconsolably until he passed gas or pooped and then completely fine with a smile tossed in lol. Mylicon drops have helped him, it’s something you could try. I don’t give them daily but when I do, they work very quickly and he passes gas/stool with no difficulty or should I say no crying.

Just went through this last night, my boy is having trouble passing gasses and barely has pooped since Wednesday night. He’s so uncomfortable and in pain for not being able to pass gasses 😭😭 I’ve tried mylicon but that hasn’t worked now, I’ve used it in the past with him he seemed fine but this time no… I’m thinking about trying Frida windi tool at this point

I just went through this with my 3wo , I didn’t know what could be wrong cause he was passing gas but he just seemed uncomfortable & kept screaming . I tried mommy’s bliss gripe water & it seemed to be he just needed to poop & he’s been good ever since .

I used the windi if it’s just a really bad night and she needed relief. Otherwise, I started using probiotic drops which I feel like helped her pass the gas and poop. Thirdly, I cut dairy and I feel like since that she has been less seemingly uncomfortable. Who’s to say it’s CMPA because that really isn’t as common as everyone makes it out to be, but some people are dairy sensitive anyways and I really think it helped within a few days

My doc said no gripe water and use mylicon. It works! We also switched formula and that has helped a lot. Also having him upright like in position to burp puts pressure on their tummy to pass gas. He definitely is way less comfortable now than a few weeks ago. Can't comment on the stool part... our lil man is regular 😂

My baby girl is 6 weeks and has had the same issue since day 1! I read it’s just them figuring out how to poop. And that was confirmed by my doctor. She said it’s more frustration than pain. Of course when she’s gassy it’s pain but it’s mostly frustration now that I’ve changed my diet!
