Feeding schedule

How much and how often do your 4 months old feed? We do 6 x 180 ml (she doesn’t always finish them) 5am (she goes back to sleep till 8am) 9am 12pm 3pm 6pm And final one at 8:30 for sleep at 9pm Asking as thinking to maybe drop the 5am feed and move her bedtime as she’s always asleep through it but she will always drink 130ml so think she still needs it!

I think at this age, they will wake if they need it. We do feed during the night anywhere between 3-5 a.m she does wake us up for this but instantly falls back asleep. A feed at 8 am , 11 am , 2 pm, 5pm and 8:30 pm before bed x

My LG is 17 weeks and having 4 x 6oz per day - 8am, 12pm, 4pm and 8pm then sleeps from 9pm until around 7:30am x

Also to add all of these bottles are 5 ounces (140ml)

We were doing 4 x 210ml in the day and get her up for 150ml at night (11/12) to keep her going (she didn't always drink this). We've just changed to 5 x 180ml and dropped the night one and it's not made a difference to her sleeping 😊

We are exact same as Rheo

@Liv thanks, as it’s the weekend I might try not to wake her up for 5am one and see how she gets on!

@Rheo thank you I was worried our last feed is too late too but tbh works for us as we just go to sleep around 9/10 after she falls asleep anyway

@Lauren definitely will try to see how she gets on without waking her for that 5am feed

We are on 5 bottles in 24 hours - most of which happen between 7am and 7pm then he wakes usually between 2-4am for one. 190mls, and the occasional 200mls. We stopped waking him for feeds a long time ago xx

Yeah I wouldn’t wake them for feeds now unless you’ve been advised to do so. I was worried about my LG because she’s only having 4 feeds but I was told not to as our babies will wake up if they’re hungry. Try dropping the 5am and see how you go x

Yeah it sounds good, if not wake her if she’s staying asleep during the night. Enjoy the sleep and she’ll wake you if she’s hungry ☺️
