Help! What hair products to use

Right, I need some advice on what hair products ti use of my little boy. His hair is curly/ straight but very corse at the back, I’m half black and my husband is white. We are not sure what hair products to use, as I’d want to embrace his curls. His hair constantly looks like a beehive (as the photo looks), I don’t want people to think we can’t look after his hair etc. I’d really appreciate any recommendations 😊

Aussie makes great products for this hair type. They have a curly kids line and the have a moose that is light and great for styling. No crunchy curls

Mommy try as I am born curly for kid is online. It works wonders for my children.

We've started using the only curls kids range on our little girl and it's really good xx

Its where hes rubbing it while sleeping, car seats, pram etc. I wouldnt put anything directly on such thin, fine hair as it will weight it down. Id mix a light leave in into a spray bottle of water and just spritz each day

Try cantu kids x

We use only curls too. The detangling spray is a lifesaver and it smells so nice!

What shampoo and conditioner do you use?. Start by the shampoo routine. Always use conditioner, Child's Farm has a ok one ,otherwise cantu kids but I find there is too much perfum in it. Use then a bit of coconut oil when yhe hair is still wet. If this doesn't work try a leave in, Cantu kids or Shea Moisture baby, As I Am baby. You can also make your own shea chantilly, his hair doesn't look that corse to use much product. If he is OK with that, use a bonnet at night, they make them baby size now. Otherwise silk bedding but hard to find for baby bed

Cantu Kids x

Try a detangler and leave in conditioner (my version, conditioner and water in a bottle for detangler). Maybe if you can do (and if he’ll let you) some French braids. It keeps my girls hair neat for a few days.

Our daughter is the exact same as this! I tend to just pop some water on it and brush it in the morning to tame it a bit or occasionally I also use the Johnsons leave in conditioner spray (our eldest has curly hair and this works wonders for her too). We bought the Cantu kids curl cream but found it a bit too heavy for our nearly 3 year old so we haven’t tried it on the baby. Xx

Just brush with water

My little coco!
