They also get penalized not having a certain amount of vaccinated children in their clinic ! Look for holistic or natural path doctors in your area

i don’t vaccinate either and planning to homeschool, i’d stick to your beliefs and how you want to do things with your child and look into other pediatricians if that’s available for you!

We're in the midst of a measles outbreak. It's so bad that my autocorrect just tried to change it to weasels. These unprecedented times. I hear your fears around the government and vaccines. There's been a lot of corruption and many moms are wary. I'll put it to you like this: Who is last person you met who ever suffered this disease? For many people, the answer is no one. Time has a way of causing us to forget how dangerous things can be. You are right to be cautious. But this vaccine has been around a long time, relatively speaking. You're not going in this blind. You can look around and see observable proof that it is working. I live in MD and we're starting to see cases here. In TX a child has died of it. I could never live with myself if that were my kid and I could have taken a measure to prevent it. I hope I didn't come across too harsh. I'm writing this with all love in my heart. You'll make a good choice for you and your baby, I'm sure.

I just a saw a post where drs get a 40k bonus for getting certain number of children vaccinated. I personally haven't gotten mine any and my dr's office doesn't give me any problems. My oldest is 12, 2nd is 2 and youngest is 7 months. They do go over it every appt and ask us why we dony lol. Doctor appts are really for the scheduled shots and to keep up with them. What is ur ig can send you some videos proving why they aren't good for them. If you are homeschooling they Definitely don't and even if you were sending them to school if other childreb are vaxxed then your child should pose no threat when you think about it.some state accept Vax exemption paper.

@Ian my insta is cherry.willow11 also, I wish they wouldn’t give doctors bonuses for medicating patients. How are we supposed to trust them when it’s their livelihood on the line?

@Emily I’m not against all vaccines, I do want some of them. But my pediatric office does one shot that’s all the ones I do want and all the ones I don’t want all in one. It’s frustrating.

I’ve been reading the book “Vaccine Friendly Plan” and it has a lot of great information about specific vaccines, what to look out for, differences among brands of vaccines, etc. it’s a good place to start to make an informed decision. My personal opinion is that a modified vaccine schedule is best, where you can spread them out and choose the vaccines that make the most sense given your child’s health, your location, travel plans, family members, etc. A big part of the problem with vaccines is that Aluminum takes a while (a few months) to leave the system and we want to support the detox of this metal without overloading the sensitive baby’s system. And- find a pediatrician that supports you making informed decisions for your child. They’re out there!

First I believe it’s illegal to threaten you , I would remove your child information and go to a new office That is no way to treat a patient Second, I didn’t give my child all the vaccines He is on honor roll and doing amazing I do make sure to give him the especial vitamins including copper it is essential. I had a client who her child was talking at 1 babbling of course lol But after the last round of vaccines he is now on the spectrum so it’s different stories not every child is the same but as a mom you read all the vaccines they want to give and figure out what is essential and what they can do without Either way you are doing great just by asking

That’s the peds decision. They’re likely doing it for multiple reasons but likely because having unvaccinated children in your practice can be a risk to those who are too young to or have true allergies to specific ones. You know how we eradicated polio? By vaccines. Measles was eradicated in the US in early 2000s but came back because people stopped vaccinating their kids. Every kid that has gotten measles in TX have been unvaccinated. I mean, what else do you need to hear or see? You clearly understand how herd immunity works so what is your fear? Imagine a town (your home) of 1000 people and 300 (or 3) are kids. You have 1 ped (you/ mom) in town who doesn’t care if the any of the kids get vaccinated and if no one is vaccinated, guess who gets sick? All of your children. Please stop listening to those that are uneducated. They’re just repeating nonsense from online influencers.

@Tara well my son doesn’t leave the house really so I don’t think he’s at risk. I just want to delay his vaccines. Obviously they work, I just dont want to be forced to be on a schedule I don’t align with. And he has had some vaccines, just not all of the suggested ones. Thankfully our pediatrician actually said as long as we have the intent to vaccinate him it’s okay.
