Underwear

From a healthcare perspective it’s advised not to because it allows air flow over night, allows the skin and area to breathe x

I’ve always work underwear for bed but as above it is advised not to so the skin can breathe

this is so weird?? everyone in my house always wears underwear to bed..

I don’t wear underwear to bed it’s uncomfy 🤷‍♀️ if my daughter doesn’t want to she doesn’t have to when she isn’t in diapers it’s her preference. She does wear a sleep sack but I would probably do a night gown when she doesn’t wear a diaper so she doesn’t get cold. It’s better to wear nothing to bed tho! To air out I guess?

Tbh I wouldn't have on a child but my step son does as my partner insists. I do as an adult but I didn't as a child I don't think.

My 3 year old doesn’t because he has a bath before bed every night so it would be gross to put his underwear he’d worn all day back on him after he’s clean from the bath, and I don’t see the point in putting a fresh pair on him just to sleep when I’d change him in the morning anyway

I think it’s just personal preference. I personally can’t sleep without because I find it uncomfortable 🤷🏻‍♀️

I always ask my kids to take underwear off for bed. Obviously they're now 15 & 11 so it's entirely upto them! Although, I do remind my 11yo to put fresh pants on in the morning lol

I didn’t even know this was a thing 😂. Surely it’s uncomfortable. Do you wear them instead of pj bottoms or as well as pj bottoms?

@Stephany same here.. I’m glad the poll is almost an even split atm because I didn’t realise how common it was and it shows that it’s almost 50:50 whether people do, I also just didn’t know it was a thing

Depends on what mood my five year old is in. Sometimes she wears underwear and not much else to bed other times she won't and will choose to wear a nightie or PJ's but doesn't want underwear and a couple of times she's worn nothing. As long as she comfy and sleeping I don't mind.

My pappy told me I need to let my bum breathe at night and I told my daughter and now she says it everytime before bed to remind me she must take her pants off before jammy bottoms 😂 I don’t always because I ain’t got time for that all the time

Ps he told me when I was little wanting to put pants back on after a bath before bed, not the other day 😂

As a child I never wore underwear to bed but now as an adult I find that weird and will probably put underwear on my daughter to bed

I think its down to preference. 4 of my children never wore underwear to bed but my youngest won't put his pj's on unless he has underwear. I don't think there is a right or wrong answer. 😊
