i have also bought this pram as i have a one year old and a newborn coming soon. it cost me just under £200 and basically that was the most i could afford as the 100s and 1000s just wasn’t an option. Also it folds down well so i needed that for my car. i have looked at a lot of youtube videos and it seems to be ok. i know what you mean though. it doesn’t look half as cosy as my first born had
Maybe with a nice cosy footmuff it would feel better? Some of them have a sort of lip around the top so it feels a little more like a carrycot
@Elle (i can't see waves) I didn’t think of a carrier that might actually be more ideal it’s something I never used with my first, I’ll definitely look into buying one ty!! I’d of loved a side by side but hate how much space they take up also! How did you find getting on the bus with a double? I still get anxiety getting on with a single luckily I don’t have to often 😂
@Victoria the prices of some of them are ridiculous! Even if I hadn’t found that one second hand it’s probably the only one we could afford full price! I do love how light it is, it’s actually lighter and more compact than our single silver cross one atm 🤦🏻♀️ I’ll have to watch afew! I’m sure it’s just in our heads! 💜
@Katie oo I didn’t think of that I’ll have to see if I can find one, Thankyou!! 🩷
Baby will be fine as it's built to lay flat etc , However in the early stages untill you feel comfortable perhaps use a baby sling / carrier that's what I did 😉 untill i actually got a double pram lol ! I opted for the oyster max , it's great sometimes i wish I had a side by side but wouldn't be practical as like yourself no car etc soo it would be hard getting on buses lol
