Oh perfect could I ask where you guys are going just so we have an idea with temperature etc because we’ve always been a couple who went away July/aug at the hottest of the year so never been anywhere April time x
@Becki we’re going to Alicante in Spain! We’re going may where it’s still hot but not as hot as like July / August. My sister has always taken her kids to turkey when they were born where it’s red hot but as long as enough sun cream etc you will be fineeeee x
We first went abroad when our son was 14/15 months. We went to Turkey in July but found a hotel in the mountains where there was a cool breeze. To be honest between having naps in the air-conditioned room, being in the pool and sitting under the umbrella, he didn't have much opportunity to overheat. We just made sure he had a full coverage swimsuit with hat and plenty of factor 50! X
I would say just perfect time for abroad! You can still carry little one as they don’t walk so much so you get things dome if you want to visit more places! I think the older the older they get the harder it gets! But thats just my opinion could be the other way!
I took my daughter when she was 5 months old to Spain. She absolutely loved it! Nothing to stop you and the prices of UK holidays you may as well go for an abroad holiday and enjoy some sun!!
Abroad! They will love the beach swimming pool. We’ve travelling abroad with our son since he was 12 weeks old and never had an issue! Enjoy!
I’d say you can still take them abroad! I’m taking my little girl next month & she’ll only be just over 5 months. Just make sure plenty of sun cream & a sun brolly etc, you’ll be absolutely fine!! X
