Chicken pox vaccine

Are you going to get your little one vaccinated? I'm not sure what to do.

I’ve had both of my littles ones vaccinated now. Worth it for the fact my husband and I work both full time and having to take up to 10 days off work if they did get it, it made sense for us! Plus I’ve seen some kids suffer so badly and I didn’t want my little one to go through that if I could prevent it

My little girl has already had it, so too late for us 😂 I don’t think I would have gotten her vaccinated anyway though, I personally don’t know anyone who has had it really badly (not that it doesn’t happen), so I would just let it happen

I don't think we will. I know my ex had chicken pox bad at 11 years old. I had chicken pox at 2 on Xmas day. It's almost better for them to catch chicken pox and be ill for a bit. Tbh I don't see the point in the vaccine unless you have a compromised immune system or parents of baby have one

Is this vaccine private or does the NHS offer it?

@Eliana private - £150 for both jabs at boots

@Steph thanks!!
