Baby not as interested in milk

Baby is just over 5 months old and is suddenly the last few days just not as interested in his milk (bottle fed), and is taking much less. He’d usually take around 200ml 5/6 times a day now it’s like 100-150. So I know he’s still getting enough but he’s usual mad for milk! He is well, having wet and dirty nappies, and still his happy usual self. Any one else similar? Any suggestions?

I've seen soo many posts about the same thing, it's worrying but I think normal for this age range. My dietician suggested slowly starting to wean because of my babies behaviour around feeding, as well as his allergies (22weeks) xxx

Literally just wrote a post saying the same thing!! So interesting to see how common it is. My baby is nearly 5 months and went from drinking 210ml every 3-4 hours to now roughly 100ml

This past week has been awful for us. She’s 4 months 3 weeks.

Yep been going through for weeks some days she will be fine others feel like having to force it as she’s just not having enough it’s stressing me

I’m having the exact same issue, my baby is just over 5months, he’s all of a sudden being so fussy and not interested in he’s bottle, he used to take 7oz easily, glad I’ve come across this post and other comments, makes me feel like it’s normal! I’m thinking about starting to wean him slightly earlier xx

@Charlie I’m reassured too! I’m thinking of starting his weaning sooner now, in a week or so, he’ll be 5 and a half months then. It’s just do odd. But I’m glad it seems common and that he is ok in himself otherwise. Couple be teething related too. We’ve upped our test flow recently so don’t think it’s that. Xx

@Charlie @Jami we started weaning couple weeks ago too when she was 5 months 1 week

Nearly 5 months and the same with us 🥲
