@Shannon it’s such a horrid feeling of anxiety isn’t it?! I know she’ll be safe but me and my husband do things a certain way like make her bottles or we know when she’s sad or needs attention and I’m just worried my parents won’t pick up on that. Congratulations on your first anniversary and hope it all goes okay for you! X
Yeahhh that’s exactly how Im feeling 😩, said to my partner I don’t want to be more than a hour away lol! Awww thank you hope it goes okay for you as well 💕xx
We were meant to go out for a meal when my mum visited when our girl was 4 weeks old but we couldn't face it. However, I think I'd be a bit better about it now. Even when my parents took her for a walk recently, I was really anxious. So don't have much advice but just to say it's normal to worry but try not to let it ruin your evening. Otherwise it's not really worth it!
I was SO anxious the first time we left our baby but I just left them with in depth instructions (probably for my own benefit) - the main thing that helped me was I asked for photo updates through the night as it meant I could see he was settled / happy etc. I know you won’t stop thinking of her but seeing the photos might help let you enjoy your night ♥️
I was anxious walking to nursery pick up this week while baby stayed at home with my sister for max an hour! He didn't need any feeds or sleeps while I was gone! Take it slow and be kind to yourself. Go somewhere nearby first if you can
Thank you ladies. We went out last night and it wasn’t too bad. I cried a little when I left her but I gave my mum instructions etc and she kept me updated with photos of her throughout the night so it made it better. I’m super proud of myself for going but I’m not rushing to do it again anytime soon 😂 x
I’m thinking of this next week for mine & my husband first anniversary & I’m worrying already and it’s not happened yet xx
