EBF and pooing
My little boy is now 5 months old. He is EBF and up until 3 weeks ago was pooing every day or every other. Recently this seems to have changed. For example last week he went 6 days without a poo and then passed a large stool. I thought it might have been a one off but it has happened again this week where he hasn’t been since Monday. He doesn’t appear to be in pain but does have a large tummy he is passing wind a lot but not vomiting and feeding as normal. I took him to the GP last week who didn’t seem concerned.
Does anyone else have experience of this? Thanks

My baby was doing several smallish poo’s a day up until about 4 months then suddenly went to one a day/every 2 days. Chance in pattern is completely normal as the digestive system matures, as long as he’s happy and not in pain when he does poo you’re fine!
It's common for BF babies to go up to a week with no poop x
My LB is the same I noticed the change about 3 weeks ago and was worried at first but this post is reassuring that it’s not just him

My baby suddenly changed as well. It was a couple of months ago tho, the change. He used to poo like 6 times a day - every nappy there’d be a little bit. Then all of a sudden he started pooing only about once every 3 days. He’s still pretty much doing that , maybe once every 2 days now
