baby items

we had stored baby items( jumpers, rockers, etc) from our first in a storage unit. when we went to get them for our second somehow they had gotten exposed to moister and caused mold spores. i have scrubbed hours, soaked them in vinegar and baking soda, i can’t get the stains removed. are these pieces trashed now or since there is no longer spores and just green stains are they okay to use??

Where to mold got so far in that it stained it, I would rather be safe than sorry and replace it, unfortunately 😩 breathing in any sort of mold can be so dangerous to breathe in especially with tiny lungs. Look into local free groups on Facebook or use marketplace to get things a little cheaper!

Anything with mold I would get rid of! Even if I cleaned it or scrubbed it’s no longer good to me honestly

Get rid hun

There are products that can remove mold stains and thoroughly kill the spores if you're willing to try, look up Mold Armor products. I live in a very damp area where mold is quite prevalent.

Maybe consider a good bleach soak and then the mold stain remover? After that you can rinse in water with mild soap?

We had mold in an old apartment and lost a lot of stuff but we had a mold specialist come in and tell us to use bio wash for our laundry and if we used that or something similar the mold is gone and all that’s left is the stain so it’s safe. We did this then washed again with our normal detergent
