@Alicia My OB. When I talked to her last she did say she could refer me to a fertility specialist, she also did say she could increase my dose of letrozole but that’s only if my cycles were 35 days or longer
I went to a fertility clinic to conceive my son and needed injectable medications. Letrozole never worked for me. I recommend going to a fertility clinic, especially one that may specialize in pcos. The increased monitoring alone is worth it so they can change your medications and dosages as you go
My fertility dr said sometimes testing with ovulation strips doesn’t work for people with PCOS. I always found them really difficult to read, it seemed like it was positive for a few days. After she told me that i switched to checking cervical mucus. I was also on metformin to regulate my cycle. As soon as my cervical mucus was right we did it and conceived (the second month in metformin). I am now on metformin again to regulate my cycle but I haven’t been ovulating (anovulatory cycles) but I think my cycle is regulating. Been watching my cervical mucus but nothing is going on there. That’s just what worked for me.
