Changing pushchair from lay down bassinet to seat

Has anyone changed over their pushchair from the lag down bassinet to the seat? My LB was born at the end of October but has had really good head control for a while now, and gets so frustrated lying down as he just wants to look around. This results in short trips as he won’t lie there content, so I have to carry him but have a back injury which is making this really challenging. I know the advice is they need to be 6 months, but wondered if anyone has already done this and found their little one is ok with the change?

@Brenna that’s the thing you see them clearly wanting to look out and about lolll Even when he was facing me he would hang out straining his neck to see everything but me so soon after I turned him to face the world 😂 Me-0 big wide world world -1

I’ve switched mine over today and she loves it she is 5 months on 25th x

Yeah I did about 2 weeks ago she hated being in the bassinet wanted to look around so changed it she seems OK an if sleepy can lie it down

I did at 3 months (he had good head control and we could put the seat back). He absolutely hated his bassinet. He absolutely loves going out in his pram now x

I did at 4 months as well. I just had a cushion, because he was a bit small for it. But now I have taken the cushion out. He loves looking around:)

Yup! Changed a couple of weeks ago and he SO much prefers it to the bassinet. He was getting frustrated he couldn’t look around while he was lying down.

Change when they can hold themselves while sitting up good enough

Yes changed to world facing pushchair

My lad was about 3 months, he had good head control and I can put the seat back as he hated laying down. He's one nosey lad. He's still facing me as I'm not ready for him to be facing the other way 🤦🏻‍♀️
