Ovulation after mc

I miscarried June 23 and I had my first period July 27. Ovulated after that and got pregnant with my rainbow. But my OB said it can take 1-3 months even to get a cycle and ovulate just depends on the person

@Natalia yeah see I had a miscarriage in December 2023 and it's taken us over a year to conceive and miscarry again but I didn't start ovulation test until last April but thought I'd try them straight away this time... i thought you couldn't get a period if you don't ovulate? Congratulations on your rainbow x

To be fair I didn’t test before the period, my OB wanted me to have a cycle first to make sure I could, she was worried if I didn’t get it then there was either something left behind or stopping me and it wouldn’t be safe to try again without knowing. So I waited for it first. Thank you, I hope you get that opportunity
