**i read about the 6 week slow down, sorry for confusion ! there’s lots on the NHS website x
While it's understandable to be concerned, it's not uncommon for breastfed babies to go several days, even up to a week, without a bowel movement. If the poos are soft and your baby is otherwise healthy and gaining weight, it's likely normal, but it's always best to consult with your midwife, health visitor, or GP for reassurance or if you have any concerns.
I've heard that breastfed babies can go days without pooping because there isn't much waste produced with breast milk.
My boy poos every 3-4 days. Also EBF. My GP said up to a week without going is considered normal
no useful info i’m afraid but i have heard this can be common, stools slowing down. if i can find the source i’ll send the link !
