New Age Business

Hey everyone šŸ«¶šŸ¼ I was saved a couple of years ago. I founded my business (fitness studio) on New Age practices… manifesting, reiki, yoga etc. I’ve been slowly peeling back the yoga classes offered and gave up reiki all together (even though I made $150 a session 😳). We are just keeping the Barre, Pilates, and Dance Cardio classes. I am asking for prayers as I’m having my baby in June and my business has totally changed. I don’t know if I’ll even continue with the physical space when he arrives and I’m scared! Any other mamas give up something like this?

If the Lord has called you to give something up, do so without looking back or having regrets. Trust in God to provide and to strengthen you. You could also potentially re open the facility with a statement of faith of being a Christian, and making it a safe place for Christians to come and be healthy in their bodies without worry of sinful practices.

Change yoga into some type of stretching maybe? And light post partum workouts...and toddler & me sessions where you get fit with your mobile littles...transform into a whole new target audience that works with family lifestyle šŸ’›

Oh & invite Jesus...Christian music & bread...maybe call the workout "Breaking Buns" and yall just do squats & booty strengthening stuff šŸ˜†

Lean into Jesus and trust him all I can say I'll pray for u girl

let your testimony shine through your business girl! what the enemy meant for evil God meant for good. make it a kingdom business now professing Christ and God will bless the rest if it glorifies Him. i also got saved out of the new age and i gave up my onlyfans (i was in the top 1% making a ton of money) and now i have a pet sitting business that God has blessed and im so grateful. trust God and surrender it to Him and ask Him what He wants for your business and when you let go and trust Him, He is sovereign and you don’t have to worry about it, the clients will come ā¤ļø

I’m from a Buddhist culture and didn’t grow up in a church. Later in life, I don’t think I would be the person I am today if it weren’t for the years I spent meditating, or learning yoga and reiki. It wasn’t new agey to me, just cultural and spiritual. But when I learned about Jesus, I grew a similar consciousness and started to question my beliefs. I stopped teaching yoga, but after a few years I signed up at a local studio. They offered yoga, but I mostly went to the workout classes. It was difficult for me to continue working out at my studio when I was pregnant, but at the same time, stretching and a yoga ball are perfect for pregnant mamas. I spent so long on my spiritual health, pregnancy made me work on my physical health too. Congrats on your pregnancy, btw. It’s good that you have a heart for doing what’s right in the eyes of the Lord. Moving forward, pray for wisdom and keep your baby in mind. I’m sure He’ll lead you on the right path.
