Do you have a morning routine?
Very loose. Wake, diaper, playtime, poopy diaper, dress, daycare. I leave for work halfway through the process, sometimes it makes him really upset.
my daughter fights getting dressed after bath time , drying her while she stands on the bathroom counter while she plays in the mirror or with toothbrush then lay her down to diaper and dress. basically no fighting me when we do it this way. we have always changed her up high on tables and dressers mainly because we’re so tall and hurts to bend over. but this way have been a game changer as long as your little isn’t brave enough to jump off and get hurt
im definitely at the point where my 2month old and i will start wear hearing protection. i swear she’s been testing out different tones and pitches to formulate her cry when she doesn’t get her way 😫🙉
I like to pick 2 or 3 shirts and let her pick which one and same with pants. Seems like she likes it better now since she’s getting to choose
Diagnose the problem first. If the problem is the actual clothing, give him options. Let him pick out his own clothes for the day. Let him choose whether to put on his shirt or pants first. Ask if he wants you to dress him or if he wants to dress himself. My 2 year old is Mr. Independent & these strategies have really helped me. Maybe he doesn’t like the feel of his clothes. Try switching laundry detergent or buy different fabric for sensitive skin. If the problem is he doesn’t want to go to daycare, that’s a whole different ballgame. I don’t know how to help with that.
